Hey all... need some help.

I am about to start a regional site with blog and forum for the county I live in. Problem is the county name is taken.

So, lets pretend that the county is elk county Pennsylvania (although its not).

elkcounty.com and elkcounty.org are both taken (and pitiful). I am thinking of a few different names and need some opinions.

elkcountyonline.com
ecpa.com
elkcountypa.com

Others?
I am looking for something memorable.

If it picks up steam I may create for surrounding areas as well.

I voted for elkcountypa.com

But elkcountyonline.com is OK to if you can't get all the surrounding counties domains as well. I'd buy them all now and develop later.

wherethehelliselk is definitely the most memorable to me.
Caveat: would it offend anyone? (unexpected reaction to an Aust tourist campaign last year - http://www.wherethebloodyhellareyou.com/)
Caveat 2: would sound much crappier if the actual county name is Snokolokami or something long/complex like that. I think it really only works with one syllable.

Thanks. Funny, I was pretty sure that elkcountyonline was available two days ago and now it seems to be gone along with others. Does godaddy and other sites buy up domains that people search and do not buy?

Yes, I think some registries do buy sites that get searched for.

Aussies are totally laid back, it was those uptight Poms that couldn't handle it
