For those who want to try again tonight after fooling around with last week's mistyped URL, here's easier instructions to follow:

If you are using Firefox, the easiest way to connect is to use the Chatzilla plugin. Download & install at:

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/16

You will be prompted to restart your browser. Afterwards, type in the address bar:

irc://irc.galaxynet.org/grs

If you are using IE, switch to Firefox. Ok, I don't know of any easy way to connect using IE. The irc:// syntax does work but only if you've installed an IRC program. A popular IRC option is: http://www.mirc.com/

I have been wanting to come in at 6PM EST (right??) and meet up with people and chat about personal finance, but I've been tutoring at that time for three weeks now. I talked to someone in there this evening and they said it's not really active. How sad!
