OK, at the risk of sounding ridiculous, I have been a regular GRS reader for several years and up until today had not ever noticed that there was a GRS Forum! I am dumbfounded about how I may have missed this, but I am excited to participate in the discussions around here!

About me:
I am a 24 year old male who has been married for almost four years, working full time, in the Marine Corps Reserve, and going to college to be a Financial Planner. I am a complete Personal Finance Dork and spend way too much time reading PF blogs, and creating awesome spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel. I am quite anti-debt and adhere to the main Dave Ramsey teachings.

Also, apologies for posting on an old thread, but I'm curious tight on your comment around most of Ramsey's comments being negative here. In what way, exactly? I've only seen a few good points made and am curious with those that disagree with particular points/actions of his.

My biggest beef with Dave is that he likes to give broad, sometimes unrealistic advice to people who don't know any better. IMO, he's leading them down a primrose path so they'll buy his books. His investment & general business advice is wretched & mostly down right wrong. However, I do like him & think his debt advice is pretty good especially considering who his target audience is. But that's where it ends for me.
