Paid off the credit card today finally! A very good thing. Took us 15 months of focused budgeting and persistance.

The last 2.5 years have been a crazy whirlwind for us. My husband has been laid off 3 times, we have moved 3 times, lived in three different states, Have 3 kids, Been in an F3 tornado that severely damaged our last home a month after we purchased it (which has now been sold to go where work is)

But soo happy to say that the 9000K plus creditcard balance has been paid off! Its a major feat, that is about 1/3 of our income since this last job paid a lot less, but just happy to have a job at this point!

Lets savor the moment and hold to it always!

Congrats!
Looks like 3 should be your new favorite number. :)
Definitely savor the moment, and look ahead so that you don't get in a bind againe. Nice work.

Great work especially given your circumstances. You are amazing. Do you have any
Plans to perhaps to obtain long term employment? Steady work is a key ingredient to real financial security.
