Does anybody have good links or advice on a simple lazy portfolio for a 1 and 3 year old? Most likely low cost ETFs at Fidelity since that is where my money is and I'll be able to see/manage their accounts with one login.
They are UTMA accounts with about $6k for the 3 y/o and $2.5k for the 1 y/o....yeah, it pays to be a first born.
I've been managing my 3 y/o's account but commissions and more importantly, my time are being wasted. Returns have been about average.
Obviously, there is not one perfect answer, but I'd like some different ideas to form a plan around. The time horizon is long. It is likely the accounts wont be needed for college funds and the money will go to the children when they turn 21 as they see fit.
