Yes! I confess, I worship at the alter of science. When friends quote facts to me I ask them to cite their sources. When my best friend said she'd figured out how to be Vegas I asked her to show me the math (then proved her wrong).

And when I look at my dogs, who in their differences are excellent examples of evolution, then hear someone tell me that evolution is all a lie I die just a little inside.

I'm gonna finish up that Dr Pepper now. At least I know it won't let me down... unless they stop making the throwback version with the real sugar...

As an aside, when I was a kid we used to experiment with mixing different soft drinks to see how they tasted, and when we mixed Seven-Up with Coca-Cola and a little root beer the result tasted almost exactly like Dr. Pepper. So we figured that's probably how they came up with the recipe.

In the evolutionary cartoon, I think it would show three people drinking Coke, Seven-Up and root beer leading to one person drinking Dr. Pepper. Not really an illustration of evolution in the conventional sense, maybe more an illustration of hybrid vigor.
