Where are you moving to abroad? Just out of curiosity...or is that to private?

I'm planning on England, but I may end up elsewhere in the UK depending on job prospects. Smile

(I feel a bit silly posting every few days with minute number changes, but at least it shows progress of some sort...)

So I did end up using some of my fun money to purchase an iPhone, and got it for $160 less than budgeted, so yay for that. Smile Numbers are adjusted below.

Ideal Goals (This is the ideal amount saved pre-moving abroad)
(1) 6-month Emergency Fund - $18,000
(2) Fun Money (New Electronics to stay in touch post-move) - $2,500
(3) Moving Fund - $5,000
(4) 2009 Property Taxes - $2,700
(5) 6-month Mortgage Fund - $6,000
(6) 2010 Property Taxes - $3,000
Total: $37,200

October 12, 2009
Debts:
(1) Mortgage: $175,410.72 (-$219.67 from last month)
(2) HELOC: $25,562.84 (-$199.36 from last month)
Total: $200,973.56

Savings:
(1) $1,461 (8%)
(2) $83 (3%)
(3) $0 (0%)
(4) $2,700 (100%)
(5) $0 (0%)
(6) $496 (17%)
Total: $4,697 (15%)

Not much progress since my last post, thanks to a few planned/unplanned expenses...
- plane tickets to London to job hunt/scout things out
- renewal of car insurance (will get a refund for a portion of this once the truck/trailer sell)
- orthodontics to fix issues from getting kicked in the head by a horse a few years ago

Still...even with all of that, none of my numbers have gone down (except debt Smile), so that's good.
