I bought myself the Igallop for $300 and I love it. I don't own any home exercise equipment and it can be argued that this item isn't exactly an exercise machine. It was a big present for myself but there are some things that I would have to be rich to bring myself to purchase.

If money were no object, I would purchase without hesitation:

Nintendo Wii and Dance Dance Revolution

I can't imagine purchasing even if I had the money:

car
ipod
the financial sinkhole of aspirational bedding (I'd stick with white sheets)

Kris and I love our Wii w/DDR. Love it.

As I get older, the only thing I really want to purchase any more is time. Strange, but true. I need more time to do things, and to see people, and to just be. The stuff doesn't matter so much anymore...

I would never buy a boat or a bigger home just b/c I could afford them.

If money were no object, I would spend on pampering myself i.e massages, pedicures, get my hair colored etc.

If money were no object I would pay someone to redecorate my house just how I want it. I have my heart set on some designer chairs like the Jacobsen Swan and the Kartell / Starck Ghost. They aren't really expensive, but they are definitely on the want list.

Even if I had the money, at this point in my life, I wouldn't buy a car. Don't need one, and have got strangely attached to doing without.

If money were no object. I'd build a house that generated its own power. Which would be a challenge as I'm a computer nerd and a lighting nerd, so the power demands would be pretty high. Also, my wife and I would probably go back to school. Her for something useful, me to randomly sign up for classes and drop them when I got bored.

If we had the money, we'd probably sell the car because we'd be able to afford to live within reasonable public transit distance of where we worked (or went to school) and we could take amtrak or planes everywhere else.

I can't see myself ever owning a TV larger than the one we have now.

I'd buy an ocean front home here in Vancouver. I'd go on some amazing trips, too.

I would get rid of almost all of my clothes and start over with a new wardrobe. Preferably chosen with professional help!

I would not buy a car (though I would not hesitate to rent one when needed).

I'm honestly not sure what I'd buy. We're pretty comfortable financially, and we don't have expensive tastes. Thus, I have pretty much everything that I want. Mory's house idea is intriguing. But really, I guess I'd mostly just want more time with my family.

Oooh, this is a fun question.

You know, if I had all the money in the world, I'd love to buy a big beautiful bunch of land and build a retreat or conference center on it. There's a place a few hours from here that I visit once a year for a professional conference, and it just seems so dreamy--breathtakingly lovely site, amazing food, lots of interesting things going on there all the time, including great performances and cultural events. I don't want to deal with all the logistics and houskeeping and crap, but I'd loooove to be able to play the role of facilitator and host for all kinds of cool stuff.

Oh yeah, and I'd buy all the books I want. But, next best thing, I just started my new job at borders and I get to check out 2 books at a time to read and then return. Sweet!

In our area, we have this thing called a library. And they even let us take more than two books at a time. ;)

And then they sell them as new?

I would travel, a lot. I'd buy many plane tickets.
I'd go out for dinner at least twice a week (sushi), and buy more expensive wine.
A few new clothes, high quality but not flashy.
A new car--i don't live in a city where I can easily get by without one.
A Wii and some games

I wouldn't buy:
Crocs. (A brand of shoes that I find hideous)

Hmm, i can't think of anything else that I would never buy. It all would be considered!
