Hello, I realize that there are previous messages regarding online savings accounts, however, I thought I would write because as I was looking at some of the Safe and Sound ratings of some of the online banks, I was concerned... Here are some banks that I was wondering about: Ally Bank (http://www.a...

While I wouldn't say not too worry about it (because it does pay to be a little cautious), however, you could always go to http://www.fdic.gov and look under the section for "Consumer Protection". I think there is a section where they have bank ratings. As far as a bank failing...there was...

As far as the savings account option is concerned...definately shop around for a better interest rate. There are other banks out there besides ING. While ING is paying 3.00%, there is <a href="http://www.unionfsb.com/">Union Federal Savings Bank</a> is currently paying 3.75%. I realize that this is ...

it's true.. i don't think the price tag is worth it either.. but just waiting a few months saved me over $240.00 (including the employee discount) yes.. technology is always changing.. but a cell phone is basically a long term investment since you're usually getting a 1 or 2 year contract with it.....

I personally think paying the price tag for the Apple I-phone is way too much. Sure, if I won a Million Dollars playing Monopoly at McDonalds, then I might buy one, but with the way technology is these days, it seems like a waste of money for a phone when you consider that there will something newer...

So do you keep all of your domains (registration and hosting) with Dreamhost? Or does Dreamhost just cover getrichslowly.org? Even though I already have my domain name and website with the same company (which was recommended to me by someone else), it seems like there is always something else out th...

Could you elaborate on separating the DNS hosting from the other two? What would be the reason for someone wanting to do that?

Hello everyone, I have had my own domain for a little while now, that up until now, I had used only for hosting pictures for eBay auctions. At this point, however, I am not actively selling on eBay and I have been thinking of other content that I could post on the site. At this point, I am still not...

Well in my case it's no big deal as I'm a dual citizen, born in Canada to US parents; I have passports for both countries, a Social Security number for the US and a Social Insurance Number for Canada. I file taxes and vote in both countries. So I can open another US account, no problem, it's just t...

I'm on day four of a computer rebuild at work. I am now trying to recreate my old RSS feeds for personal finance but this site is the only one I remember. So I'll take this opportunity to create a whole new list made up of y'alls favorite sites. What RSS feeds do y'all subscribe to on Personal Fina...
