Howdy all! I've been following GRS for a few months and just recently (like today) stumbled on the forums.

I'm a teacher/coach in Texas and have been for the past three years. In a previous life I was a youth pastor and quasi social worker. I'm interested in personal finance and have been for a while...somewhat of a hobby. It's become more important recently since the wife and I are talking about starting a family soon and we want her to stay home with the kids. I'm also working on blogging and kind of in the infancy stage of it.
