Debt Free Daydreams

Postby fantasma » Mon May 02, 2011 10:07 am

I am still trudging in the mud of debt but that does not stop me from day dreaming! Oh the places I will go!The things I will do!

What do you daydream of doing when your debt free?

Here's my list so far....

Save my money for things I love to do and buy like traveling, shoes and art.
Skiing
Vegas
New Orleans (again)
Cruise to Martinique
Kayaking trips
Sky diving
Thailand
Morroco
Spain
Portugal
Alaskan Cruise
Brazil
Peru
Guatemala
Be what you want to attract.

My list:

Sailboat
Work in a less demanding career field

Really, anything else is just gravy. Those two things are my main motivators.

Wake up
Make fresh ground coffee
Read the newspaper (hopefully the old paper ones will still be around then)
Go snorkeling or kayaking
Take a nap
Read for a while
Make a nice dinner
Rinse
Repeat

That's in between trips and exploring topics I never seem to have time for

I am all about the debt free daydreams. I'm a bit of a cash hoarder, though, so my daydreams involve watching my savings account skyrocket.

My debt free daydream:

This probably sounds crazy but the 1st thing we want to do is help my mother-in-law buy a condo. Then we can relax knowing we're taken care of and the people we care about most are taken care of.

After that (seems really far away):

Job that I could work more directly in service 1:1, probably lower pay (but maybe not)
Run more (at 10 am any day of the week that I want in the park of my choice :D)
Read more / study the Bible... maybe even become a deacon
Volunteer work on weekdays when I want... love working with Habitat
All the above while spending even more time with family and friends

Best thing is knowing it really will happen!

I'm dreaming to be debt free too.
