We are beginning to see the light at the end of a very long dark tunnel and we desire help for future financial wellness.

The home we are buying is 1920"s 2.5 story, semi-kept up. We are doing all the work ourselves. We are also trying to go as "green" as possible without sacrificing comfort or causing my husband's son to want to not come over. He's lives with his mom an hour away and we see him often.

I am interested in gardening and can't wait to begin. I've been in an apt. so long I don't really know where to begin!

We are putting money away for savings for extra needs for our son. He's 14 and goes through clothes and food like crazy. He's a straight A student, baseball player, trumpet player and all around great young man! We are concerned now about driving and insurance, etc. Does one allow a student that does so much and is involved in everything to also add to his load and get a job?
