Based on the excellent book, Buffettology, by Mary Buffet.

I put it on my secret blog on my Options trading. Trying to re-write it here from memory:

1. Strong Return on Equity
2. Strong Return on Total Capital
3. Strong and rising Historical Earnings
4. Little to no Long Term Debt
5. Right Product or Service with Durable Competitive Advantage
6. Avoids Organized Labor
7. Sales Prices keep up with Inflation
8. Low Operational Costs
9. Commitment to Repurchase Shares

..GrowthWorks fund. Order placed today. Lackluster performer ever since I owned it, over 14 years ago!! Good news is it no longer has clawback tax risk today. Benefit of the investment for so long was the Tax Credits, which were substantial. But every time I looked at my statement, I groan at the sight of the holding. I will be free of it this coming Monday, Yeah!!

The other dog investment, Vengrowth Life Sciences Fund, will need be held till 2011, unfortunately, to avoid tax clawbacks of $750 and $800 federal and provincial. Hopefully it might rise while I hold it (fingers crossed).

Customer bought item end of April. Staff did not catch it. I did not catch it. Customer complained. I processed the order today, it's now in the mail. I apologized in writing. Hope he's happy now.. :?:

..had it in the warehouse for 2 years! Still brand new in box.

Researched it and found it was no longer available from Thane. Lots of customers want it badly.

I put it on eBay at a price reflecting its newfound rarity!
